The Gemikonağı Reservoir Is Full
With a capacity of 4,250,000 m³, the Gemikonağı reservoir is now full thanks to heavy rainfall and snow on the Troodos mountains. Part of the water is going to the Güzelyurt dam via the diversion channel, and part is being released into the Xsero stream. Given that the flow in the Xsero stream will continue as the snow on the Troodos melts, water will keep flowing both into the diversion channel and, beyond the reservoir, into the Xsero stream for some time yet.
